UJI KEMAMPUAN KOLEKTOR SURYA PLAT DATAR DENGAN VARIASI JUMLAH DAN JARAK KACA PENUTUP

Abstract


The plate solar collector is a very important tool in the process of utilizing solar radiation energy into heat energy. The flat plate solar collector consists of cover glass, absorbent plate, frame and insulation. One very important part of the solar collector is the cover glass because it serves to pass the solar radiation into the collector and maintain or reduce the heat losses that occur in the upper part due to environmental air convection. This study aims to determine the amount and distance between the best glass ability. Testing flat plate solar collectors is done by varying the amount and distance between different glass. The variation of distance and the amount of glass used is 1 glass, 2 glass, and 3 glass. While the variation of distance between the glass that is 20 mm, 30 mm, and 40 mm. The cover glass used has a thickness of 3 mm. From the results of tests that have been done flat plate solar collector that has better performance is a collector with the number of glass 3 pieces and the distance between glass 20 mm
