Modifikasi Membran Ultrafiltrasi PVDF dengan Penambahan Aditif DOPA/PEI untuk Aplikasi Penyisihan Asam Humus dalam Air
Abstract
Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF) telah dikenal sebagai salah satu polimer yang paling umum digunakan sebagai bahan utama membran. Namun, sifat hidrofobik bahan ini masih menjadi kendala besar dalam pengaplikasiannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meminimalkan terjadinya fouling dengan memodifikasi membran PVDF dengan aditif dopamine/polietilen imina (DOPA/PEI). Membran dibuat dengan metode inversi fasa dan modifikasi dengan DOPA/PEI dilakukan melalui pelapisan permukaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan aditif ke dalam larutan polimer membran meningkatkan fluks air murni dan fluks asam humus dibandingkan membran PVDF murni. Modifikasi membran PVDF dengan penambahan aditif DOPA/PEI dengan perbandingan 1 gr:0,5 gr (M4) memberikan hasil yang paling optimal pada penelitian ini. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa DOPA/PEI dapat menjadi aditif yang menjanjikan untuk membran.
